If you have a First Bank of the Lake checking account and do not have a debit card, you can order your card by visiting us or calling us at 573.348.2265.
Insert the chip end of your card into the terminal with the chip facing up.
Keep your card in the terminal and follow the prompts.
Remove your card when prompted and take your receipt.
For over the phone or online purchase, provide your card information the way you always have when you’re ready to make a purchase.
Merchants without chip terminals may ask you to swipe the magnetic strip.
Report a Lost or Stolen Debit Card
If your card is lost or stolen, immediately call 800.417.8715, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will have the option to order a replacement debit card during your call.

Debit Card Travel Notifications
Traveling outside the state or the country? Avoid having your debit card denied at the register – notify First Bank of the Lake before you leave. Notifying us of your travel plans helps prevent your debit card transactions from being blocked during your travels.
If you are traveling, please give us a call at 573.348.2265 or toll free at 888.828.0167 during regular business hours, Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm CT to notify us of your upcoming travel.
Please note: Travel notices require overnight processing to take effect. All requests are handled during regular business hours, Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Other financial precautions to keep in mind when you travel Notifying us about your travel plans is not the only financial precaution you should take. If possible, bring more than one credit or debit card with you and stash one in a safe space outside your wallet in the event that your wallet is lost or stolen.
